From the moment I stepped onto Main Street, U.S.A. as a kid, I was hooked. Disney and Universal weren’t just theme parks—they were worlds of adventure, magic, and memories waiting to be made.
What started as childhood excitement quickly turned into a lifelong passion, one that only grew stronger as I experienced the parks in a whole new way with my own family. Taking my kids to Disney and Universal opened my eyes to the magic beyond the rides—the joy of discovering new experiences together, the thrill of seasonal events like Halloween Horror Nights, and the little details that make every visit unforgettable.
That love for theme park travel eventually became my career, helping families plan stress-free, dream vacations filled with the same magic that shaped my own.
Now, through The Mouse & Globe Podcast, I get to combine my love for these destinations with my experience as a travel agent, sharing insider tips, must-know strategies, and the best ways to make every trip unforgettable. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned pro, I’m here to help you unlock the very best of Disney and Universal—one episode at a time!

To me, going to Disney and Universal is like Christmas. There’s just something magical about it. I love the feelings of joy and excitement it elicits. Each time I step foot on property, it’s a new experience where a world of possibilities opens up and anything can happen.
Life can be so stressful and hectic but Disney and Universal are an opportunity to step back into childhood where all of the stress and responsibilities fade away. There is a reason people call it the Disney bubble. To be able to get to your hotel and not have a care in the world for the length of your trip is so freeing. There’s no house to clean, no meals to be made, no work or homework that needs to be completed, you don’t even so much as have to drive once you get on property. It’s a time of escape.
Believe it or not, my first trip to Disney and Universal was an absolute disaster. I claimed it as the worst vacation I had ever been on and didn’t care if I ever went back. As life went on, my youngest (who I was pregnant with at the time) begged to go to Disney and Universal and we figured it wasn’t fair for her to not have the opportunity to go. I decided then and there that I would make sure it was perfect this time. I would take all the things I did wrong last time and do more research to make it the trip of a lifetime. Along the way of my countless hours of research, I learned so much information and started to fall in love with the parks. Our next trips were amazing successes and now we are Disney annual passholders.
I am excited for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned with others so they don’t have to learn things the hard way like I had to. The fact that I have fallen head over heels for the parks means I want to be there all the time and in order to do that I’ve had to also learn where to cut cost and how to save in order to make multiple trips a year possible. There are so many different things to do at each of the parks that there is truly something for everyone. I want to be able to share that so no matter if you are a thrill seeker, a foodie, a shopper or someone who enjoys a good show, you will know all the exciting opportunities just waiting to be discovered.
